The book The Doom Stone by Paul Zindel is one of my personal favorites. It has action, mystery, and the wondrous Stonehenge. To begin, always like a book with action. In this book there is an amazing encounter with Ramid, a strange alien.

The first time the people saw Ramid, he was hiding in a mill. As a soldier went to look for Ramid, the creature jumped out and bit his head off. This book also has mystery. "The Doom Stone" is more of an action packed horror book and it lacks in plot at the end of the book a little bit.

However, I still liked it a lot because it was action packed and it was hard to put the book down. If you like action packed horror books, I recommend reading "The Doom Stone."5/5(5).
